Of course, your tranquil retreat at Hyatt Vacation Club® at Sirena del Mar may be tough to leave — with the two infinity-edge pools (one with a swim-up bar) and a secluded beach cove calling your name — but when you venture out, there’s so much to explore.
From malls and markets to boutiques and galleries, here's where to shop while vacationing in Los Cabos.*

Cabo San Lucas
Although more widely known for its boating and bars than its boutiques, don’t miss the shopping scene in Cabo San Lucas. Hidden between larger souvenir markets are a number of high-quality artisan shops.
Eclectic Array has four shops throughout Los Cabos, with the flagship located beside the marina. It sells everything handmade that you can imagine — apparel, handbags, shoes, pillows, jewelry, and even hand-stitched leather pet collars. It also provides fair trade and sustainable opportunities to Indigenous communities throughout Mexico.

Galería Auténtica boasts the largest collection of original Mexican fine art in all of Los Cabos, including pieces hyperlocal to the destination. One of the featured artists, David Moreno, is a Cabo native who paints recognizable scenes like El Arco, a landmark rock formation, onto gorgeous marble slabs.
The Glass Factory is also a gem, where virtually every glass souvenir sold throughout Baja is made — from drinking glasses and vases to ornaments and more. Witness the process live as a dozen artisans crush, liquefy, and sculpt recycled glass into colorful masterpieces.
For items both lavish (fine jewels, watches, and perfumes) and practical (sunglasses, makeup, and phone chargers), head to Cabo's main malls: Puerto Paraíso and its upscale enclave, Luxury Avenue. You can also find swimsuits, sun hats, and souvenir T-shirts that are higher quality than what's in the outside stalls, but more reasonably priced than in the trendy boutiques.

San José del Cabo
An afternoon or evening stroll down the streets of San José del Cabo makes for a memorable excursion. Browse charming local shops and art galleries and time passes pleasantly as you wander and window shop.
Start in Plaza Mijares, the town center and home to a gazebo and amphitheater (and site of regular musical and dance performances), and the Letras Monumentales — large letters spelling the town's name that are prime for posing and posting. From there, Boulevard Mijares and Avenida Zaragoza house some of the best spots for browsing. Many offer international shipping (in case you fall in love with a piece too large to pack in your suitcase).
You'll find fine art, folk art, jewelry, and even home decor. The handmade chandeliers and decorative lamps at a shop called Olympos, for example, are a little unexpected, while Tonton Textil features artisan clothing and accessories for men and women. Choya Rose offers Mexican-designed furniture, accessories, and clothing, like hand-woven belts, colorful tableware, and straw bags with Day of the Dead motifs.
Thursday evenings during peak season (November to June) are when San José del Cabo really comes alive for the town's weekly Art Walk. From 5 to 9 PM, the main road closes to car traffic and more than a dozen galleries open their doors wide to meet the artists, enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, and get to know the art.
Two can't-miss stops are the Frank Arnold Gallery, showcasing renowned contemporary paintings and bronze sculptures, and Silvermoon Gallery, housing an incomparable collection of Mexican folk art, including papier-mâché sculptures and Huichol yarn paintings. Outside, live music and street food vendors keep you entertained and fed between stops.
